For the outer shell, 36 individual components of up to 50 m² in size and weighing up to 6 tons were manufactured from cross-laminated timber at the ZÜBLIN Timber factory in Aichach. The complex, multi-curved free-form surfaces were connected with over 200 # of X-fix. The pavilion can be easily dismantled using X-fix and rebuilt elsewhere after the celebrations.
